Artists often go through creative periods where a particular ambition, focus or aesthetic drives their work. One of the most well known periods for an artist is Picasso's 'Blue Period' between 1901 and 1904 when he created monochromatic paintings in shades of blue and blue-green. The creative periods of an artist are pivotal because they communicate where their mind and focus resides—a useful frame for experiencing a new perspective through their visionary lens.

Artist and creative pioneer Rah Crawford has entered a new creative period entitled NEO NOW. The next iteration of his creative efforts will focus on the immediacy of the emerging world. Hyper-emotional states, blockchain technology, and branded popular culture will serve as the catalyst for his future works. Crawford's distinct visual artistic style will also evolve during his NEO NOW period and will expand his reach into sonic art.

Crawford's Welcome to Earth period, which encompasses his creative efforts from 2004 - 2016 has been published into a 100 page book as a documentation of the artist's decade spanning exhibition and the introduction of a new approach to art. The book is filled with event photographs, artwork and commentary that reveal Crawford’s four-part exhibition which began in 2004 and concluded in 2015.
