Rah Crawford Commissioned to Inspire The Workplace
NEW YORK - Located in the heart of the financial district, Wall Street opens and closes to the sound of a ringing bell. It is an enchanted realm where human optimism and pessimism are imbued with animal characteristics. Bear markets decline slowly while bull markets charge ahead. Wall Street is a rainbow of sweaty red faces in blue suits, chasing green money into the black. This type of abstract view of the world's financial center evokes metaphors and analogies that only a creative mind could use for inspiration.
Looking to shake things up at their Wall Street office, Inquvision, a start up specializing in global sales and distribution, has commissioned visual artist Rah Crawford to inspire their headquarters at 65 Broadway (across from the American Stock Exchange). " We were tired of these white walls and the Wall Street stereotypes. We really love Rah's new approach to art and his colorful vision. Our company is about embracing the future so it was an easy decision for our team. " says Kyle Libra, Inquvision's product manager.
The artist's vision included the use of vibrant primary colors along with hand painted animals rendered in Crawford's signature Npic-Art style for each of the 5 walls. "The animals and colors were inspired by the staff. The office feels young and fun now. It's a cool place to spend a long workday. My goal was to continue the idea of pairing financial optimism with animal characteristics," states the artist.
