For Immediate Release: May 2010 Harder. Faster. Stronger. and.. Even Longer! The Brucennial - extended until May 22, 2010New York - The Brucennial, a lively art exhibition featuring over 420 artists is the brainchild of the Bruce High Quality Foundation with curatorial assistance from art dealer Vito Schnabel, son of famed artist/director Julian Schnabel. The Bruce High Quality Foundation is an artist collective focused on reshaping the art world in their own unique way by using artists to solve art world problems. With the well received Brucennial having opened on the same day as the Whitney Biennial, the show has garnered lots of attention with a kick-off party that welcomed more than 8,000 visitors throughout the evening. The exhibition is comprised of art from emerging talents hanging proudly alongside notable blue chip artists such as Francesco Clemente, Donald Baechler and Julian Schnabel. An evolving show, new works have been added by select artists, including the entry of a painting by Rah Crawford, founder of NPIC-Art. Crawford's traditional style oil painting Ms. Neo, depicting a beautiful solemn faced woman with an exploding bouquet of flowers from her head, hangs a bit perplexed amongst some of the more raw works of his contemporaries. "This is the first exhibition where someone has ever described my work as normal. You Gotta' love that!" stated Rah Crawford in response to a guest. Brucennial Now until May 22, 2010
